Mark has built his career at the intersection of the private, public, and social sectors. Devoted to economic development both domestically and internationally, Mark has pursed a path supporting entrepreneurship as a way to lift others out of poverty while creating sustainable economies. It was this passion for development that led Mark to Saha Global as a volunteer in Ghana in 2012 and later to pilot the first solar program after winning Saha Global’s Social Enterprise competition in 2013.Since then Mark has worked on entrepreneurial projects across Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin America in a variety of fields including education, sanitation, energy, technology, and community leadership. Mark joined the Saha Board in 2014 and is currently chair of the Finance committee.

Today, Mark brings that same enthusiasm and passion to the Journey Venture Studio where he serves as Managing Director. Mark has an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and a background in Management Consulting and Private Equity. Mark holds a B.S. in Philosophy and Communications from Boston College.
